Nicolas Garfunkel began his professional career at the JPMorgan Private Bank Wealth Advisory department in the New York and Geneva offices.

For over 5 years he specialized in the design and implementation of tax planning structures and vehicles for UHNWI.

After his return to the country late 2009, Nicolas joined the International Tax department of KPMG and later to the Corporate Advisory department.

For the next 5 years, he worked advising both global companies and local groups on international taxation issues, structuring of investment vehicles, mergers and acquisitions, real estate projects and corporate restructurings.

Nicolas obtained his law degree from the University of Belgrano and has an advanced master’s degree (Adv. LL.M.) in international tax law from the University of Leiden, Netherlands.

He is a member of the Public Bar Association of the Capital Federal.
