Juan Pablo holds a law degree and a Doctorate in Law from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA). He also holds a Master’s degree in Tax Law from the Universidad de Barcelona and has completed studies in Digital Economics and Crypto Assets at the Universidad de Salamanca.
He is a Full Professor at Universidad del CEMA and an Associate Professor by competitive examination at the UBA, where he teaches Public Finance and Tax Law. He also serves as a guest lecturer in the “Crypto Assets: Implementation for the Financial Sector” program at the Business School of Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. He is Deputy Director of the Specialization in Criminal Tax Law at the UBA School of Law, and the author of numerous academic and opinion publications in his field of expertise. In his professional career, he served for more than two decades as an official at the former AFIP, holding senior positions including head of the Legal Department for Large National Taxpayers (DGI), the Judicial Coordination Division, and the Deputy General Directorate of Legal Affairs. He subsequently served as Director of Compliance and Public Affairs at Lemon Cash from 2022 to March 2026. He joined MGFV in May 2026.
Juan Pablo also serves as tax advisor to the Argentine Fintech Chamber.
He is a member of the Buenos Aires Bar Association and Vice President of the Argentine Center for Studies in Criminal Tax Law.
