Santiago began his professional career, in 2001, at the Judicial Branch of the Province of Córdoba and at various national government agencies. He subsequently worked in the day-to-day operations of several companies, including electronic payment system administrators, and in new technology implementation projects. He joined GPG Advisory Partners (now, MGFV) in 2017, where he founded and led the Fintech and New Technologies department.

Santiago has been ranked Band 1 in the Chambers and Partners Fintech Guide from 2022 to date, and serves as legal and technical advisor to the Argentine Fintech Chamber.

Santiago has taught Commercial Law at the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) for more than 12 years, and currently serves as director and instructor of various programs on “Fintech Law”, “Blockchain” and “Crypto Assets” at UBA, Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (UTDT), Universidad de San Andrés (UDESA), and the Buenos Aires Institute of Technology (ITBA). Santiago has lectured and presented at various institutions and forums and is frequently consulted by the press on matters related to his field of expertise. He is the author of numerous research papers on Regulatory, Commercial and Technology Law, co-author of the Argentina chapter in the “Global Practice Guide – Fintech” (2020 to date) by Chambers and Partners, and co-director of the book “Fintech: Legal Aspects” (6 volumes).

Santiago J. Mora is a lawyer from Universidad Blas Pascal -Córdoba- (2001) and holds a Master’s degree in Law and Economics from UTDT (2007).
